Message from the Principal

Mathews Public School is located in the Crowland region of Welland. Built in 1929 the school has a great deal of history and tradition. We have a wonderful group of students that show a passion for life and a love of learning. All of our students are great young people with different strengths and talents. Our skilled and caring staff members are always looking for additional ways to support, nurture and educate our students! We offer a large variety of co-curricular activities in which our students get involved.

It is my pleasure to be part of the team here at Mathews Public School. This is my fourth year at Mathews and I am very proud of the hard work and dedication of our students, staff and parents. I am enjoy working with everyone to accomplish our goals and improve student achievement. I believe it is crucial that we all work together to ensure our students’ success and provide a safe and happy environment for all of our students. I encourage parents and friends to become involved with our school by volunteering and participating in our School Advisory Council. Your input is valued and appreciated!
